Step into Viva’s lingerie and nightwear shop in Orchard Central and you might have just entered into a time capsule of youth, albeit with a tinge of playful sensuality.
Its Victorian shop concept complete with soft, pastel coloured furniture, exquisite racks designed like wardrobes and dressing rooms with lacy curtains and frilly lampshades are attention grabbing, but what makes heads turn is truly the collection of fetish costumes. Think outfots outfits like the nurse maid, Japanese school girl, Christmas elf and sailor girl. And what’s more, at an affordable price range of $59.90 to $69.90.
With pink, black and white colour schemes and adorned with lace and satin, there’s an irresistible girlish charm in its lingerie collection.Women will also be able to find trendy push-up bras with intricate designs at a bargain price of only $10. “Good bras are like good make-up, they can enhance a woman’s curves at the right places,” says Director Miss Jenny Jiang.
The svelte 28-year-old Chinese native established her first Viva outlet at Far East Plaza three years ago after spending years working in the cosmetics and beauty line. Also a self-professed avid collector of lingerie, she accumulated a personal collection of close to 40 bras and 300 panties till date. “Our emphasis is on beauty, comfort , impact and value for money,” adds the 28-year-old.
With rapid renewals of its stock every two to three weeks, Viva is sure to whet its customers’ appetite for something new and exciting.
